Highways Enclosure Wiring

Henry Williams have been manufacturing highways electrical feeder pillars and cabinets for DNO supplies and customer private networks for over 30 years. We have a comprehensive design package to cover most sizes, electrical layouts and security requirements.

The customer can specify various options of environmental control within the cabinet either using fans, heating or air conditioning units for sensitive highway roadside equipment. These are specifically designed for the harsh conditions which are encountered on the streets and highways.

Our electrical projects team has extensive knowledge in the design and quoting of highways electrical control panel works. Our electricians and control wiring technicians are HEA approved and qualified under the current BS7671 wiring and inspections regulations.

Our engineers can populate standard off the shelf enclosures or our own range of cabinets which are manufactured from aluminium, stainless steel and hot dipped galvanised mild steel. All cabinets are supplied with an optional plinth to reduce ground works on site.

As an alternative to plastic Henry Williams Limited can also offer cabinets and feeder pillars with EIC which will give a long lasting finish with the addition of touch potential safe insulation. EIC is a breakthrough product and more robust then GRP and protects engineers, the public and animals from electrocution if the cabinet goes live.
