Valve Forgings for the Oil & Gas Industry

Henry Williams Ltd have been manufacturing various forgings within the oil and gas industry for over 40 years and are experts in drop forging of valves for on and offshore production.

Manufactured from a variety of alloy, stainless steel and super duplex materials the same body is often manufactured from identical tooling but from different steel specifications.  This is dependant on the end use, for example steam plant, chemical applications, power station, nuclear applications along with oil and gas.

The valves come in a range of sizes from 0.5kg up 200kg dependent on complexity and material specification and tooling requirement for use in corrosive and hazardous chemical environments. Due to the flexibility of our production processes small batches can also be commercially viable allowing a far more robust product to be manufactured compared to expensive machined alternatives.

Stock items also include a range of flange forgings for use with a wide range of valves. Our company is qualified to NORSOK M650 for F51 duplex materials LF2, 316, F51 and F55, where all materials is sourced and certified through our European mill partners. Our new Solidworks 3D die CADCAM software coupled with our in house CNC machining centres and lean production processes offer moderate cost savings and quick turnaround on tool manufacturing and repairs.
