We are the only Company in the UK that offers the complete package of forgings, sheet metal, fabrication, electrical projects and test facilities.

Reason for the role

To provide internal and external customer and supplier liaison, control and upkeep of stock, stores and laydown areas.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Under the direction of the Production Support Team Leader, you will be required to carry out the following duties as required:

  • Kitting up, allocate issues correctly
  • Entering delivery notes onto the system
  • Unplanned issues – PPE, tools and maintenance
  • Perpetual inventory (cycle counting)
  • 5S, including dated stock and old stock, housekeeping and stores improvements
  • Liaising and procurement about incorrect deliveries
  • Maintain orderliness and upkeep of main stores areas
  • Goods inwards – checking off deliveries including subcontract deliveries, locating received items
  • Management of the telephone gate entry and deliveries at the hatch
  • Goods in location
  • Liaising with QA inspection and put in place measures so that real time management / movement of stock is achieved
  • Kanban replenishment
  • Receiving items ready to be despatched, final despatch loading


Successful Candidate

Essentially you will have:-


  • FLT counter balance licence
  • Previous stores / inventory management experience
  • Computer literate
  • Good communicator
  • Highly flexible and a can do approach
  • Team Player

Desirable job related skills:-


  • Working knowledge of lean methodology (6s)
  • Manufacturing / Engineering Stores experience


Working Hours

37 hours per week

Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 3.30pm and 8.30am – 4.30pm alternate weeks

Friday – 7 – 12 noon
