Another Fabrication Investment

news_73_bigHenry Williams has taken delivery of a second Pullmax CNC turret punching machine to increase both capacity and capability in its Fabrication Department. This additional machine can process sheet up to 3000mm x 1500mm which is required for new product developments in both the Railway and Highways markets.

The larger sheet size that this machine can handle is ideal for optimal nesting of parts for two new products:

• The new Loc Plus which is an improved version of the traditional Railway Lineside Location Case for signalling equipment can now also house power switching capability within the same enclosure

• The latest version of the Highways Agency electrical cabinet – the T600 Mark 6 – is slightly larger than its predecessor and requires this increased sheet size

The purchase complements the existing Pullmax turret punch and combines with the two CNC forming presses to provide a balanced throughput of punching and forming in the department. The robot welding cell completes the production process flow.
Managing Director Andrew Nelson said “This new investment confirms our position as one of the leading fabrication companies in the Railway and Highway sheet metal enclosure business.”
